Job Description
Allegion is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Intern to contribute meaningful work and make a direct impact to the Assembly, Coatings, Fabrication, and New Product Development projects in the Exits business unit.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Change Management, Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering (ME) or Mechanical Engineering Technology (MET) or related field
- Demonstrated leadership ability and initiative
- Strong analytical skills and comfort with accessing, organizing, and presenting complex data using multiple software platforms
- Effective listening, time management and creative problem-solving techniques
- A desire to learn, grow and develop by working on projects that will impact Allegion’s business and customers
- Experience or familiarity with 3D Modeling in Creo or other modeling package
- A GPA of 3.0 or higher and some previous work experience
