The Senior Process Engineer role is responsible for the development, optimization, and continuous improvement of assembly processes to achieve target yields, quality, and cycle times.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Materials Engineering, Metallurgical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a closely related technical field
- Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in a Process Engineering role within the semiconductor manufacturing industry, specifically in assembly operations
- Proven track record in process setup, development, and optimization
- Demonstrated experience with equipment qualification, buy-off processes, and FMEA generation/review
- Strong knowledge of semiconductor assembly processes (e.g., die attach, wire bond, molding, singulation) and associated equipment
- Proficient in generating technical reports, defining clear manufacturing specifications, and developing robust process documentation
- Solid understanding of electronic, mechanical, and electro-mechanical theories, with practical experience in using appropriate electrical, electronic, and mechanical tools and instruments for troubleshooting and analysis
- Expertise in applying core quality tools, including APQP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and PPAP
- Familiarity with statistical data analysis software (e.g., JMP, Minitab) for process monitoring and improvement
