Senior Technician, Development Product Engineering

Allegro is seeking a Senior Technician to support the development, characterization, and validation of new integrated circuit (IC) products. The role involves hands-on execution of test plans, data collection, and troubleshooting at the hardware level.

Requirements

• Associate's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering Technology, or a related technical field
• Minimum of 2-5 years of hands-on experience as a Technician in a semiconductor, electronics, or similar high-tech product development environment
• Proficiency in operating a wide range of electronic test equipment
• Strong ability to read and interpret schematics, circuit diagrams, and technical specifications
• Skilled in fine-pitch soldering and rework on PCBs
• Familiarity with data acquisition systems and basic data organization using tools like Microsoft Excel
• Basic programming/scripting skills (e.g., LabVIEW, Python) for test automation are a plus
