The Allegro team is seeking an experienced and highly motivated Lead Buyer to join our Global Supply Chain team. The Lead Buyer will be responsible for strategic sourcing, vendor management, and procurement activities to ensure the timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials and services essential for our operations.
Requirements
- 5+ years of progressive experience in procurement, strategic sourcing, or supply chain management
- Proven track record of successful negotiation, cost reduction, and supplier management
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed procurement decisions
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute strategic sourcing plans
- Proficiency with ERP systems and e-procurement tools
- Solid understanding of supply chain principles, logistics, and inventory management
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field
