Job Description
Allegro MicroSystems seeks a U.S. General Ledger Senior Accountant to support the general ledger function for US entities, ensuring accurate and timely financial transactions in accordance with US GAAP and corporate policies. The role involves preparing journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting, as well as collaborating with other departments to resolve cross-functional issues.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in general ledger accounting or a similar accounting role
- Experience with US GAAP is required
- Experience within a manufacturing, technology, or semiconductor industry is a plus
- Familiarity with month-end close processes and account reconciliations
- Proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is highly desirable
- Strong Excel skills for data analysis, reconciliations, and reporting
- Solid understanding of US GAAP principles, including revenue recognition, expense accruals, and intercompany accounting
- Experience with financial reporting software (e.g., Hyperion, BlackLine) is a plus
