Commercial Inspector

Allen County Government is seeking an experienced Commercial Building Inspector to help ensure the safety, compliance, and integrity of commercial construction projects across our community.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• 8+ years of experience in commercial construction
• Valid Allen County Contractor License, Inspector Certification, or equivalent
• Working knowledge of structural, electrical, plumbing, and safety codes
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and construction plans
• Strong communication skills
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office and reporting tools)
• Basic math and measurement skills
• Valid Driver's License
