Senior Cloud Security Engineer

Your role as a Senior Cloud Security Engineer at Allens involves designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud environments, working closely with IT, legal, and business teams, and providing security input into cloud vendor selection and procurement processes. You will also be responsible for identifying and remedying cloud vulnerabilities and misconfigurations, and developing and maintaining cloud security improvement plans within governance and risk management frameworks. This is a permanent, full-time opportunity with a hybrid working structure, typically 60% in the office and 40% from home.

Requirements

• Experience within professional services or financial services environments
• Strong knowledge of Azure architecture, governance, and operations
• Hands-on experience with compliance frameworks such as ISO 27001
• Solid understanding of Microsoft Entra ID, identity governance, and security principles
• Skills in automation and Infrastructure as Code, with an understanding of logging, alerting, and auditing strategies
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to translate technical concepts clearly
