
Job description
Controls Engineers work in an office environment and on the shop floor, designing and developing automation systems, and interfacing with customers. They lead project teams and troubleshoot systems. The role requires proficiency in multiple automation platforms and vision systems, and understanding of programming and commissioning requirements.
Program within budget, lead project teams, troubleshoot systems, design system architecture, specify and program data collection systems, interface controls architecture with M.E.S. systems, and travel to customer sites for installation and training.
The ideal candidate has 5-10 years of experience, a related degree or equivalent work experience, and proficiency in multiple automation platforms and vision systems.
