
Job description
The Controls Engineer is responsible for supporting the automation and robotic systems used within the factory, including designing, programming and troubleshooting. This role ensures equipment runs safely, efficiently, and reliably to support production goals.
Design and program PLCs, HMIs, and automation systems, maintain and troubleshoot automation equipment, implement and support safety systems, lead upgrades and commissioning of new equipment, and provide technical documentation and training.
The ideal candidate will have experience with PLCs, HMI's, and industrial networks, strong problem-solving skills, and effective communication skills. Project management experience and 3 years minimum industrial experience are also required.
