Job Description
The Senior Manager of Outreach and Membership leads AFJ/AFJ Action Campaign initiatives to deepen and expand engagement of progressive organizations, national and state advocates, AFJ members, and legal communities to elevate the importance of the courts and defending democracy.
Requirements
- BA or BS degree or equivalent experience
- 5+ years' experience with increasing responsibilities in campaign, community, or campus organizing/outreach, event planning, or progressive nonprofit work
- Demonstrated experience working with a variety of stakeholder organizations and individuals to engage and motivate to action
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to interact online, on the phone, and in-person with stakeholders, legal community, coalition members, and professional staff
