Do you enjoy working outdoors in a fast-paced, safety-obsessed aviation environment? As a Ramp Agent, you will be essential in ensuring that flights run on time by providing efficient ground support services.
Requirements
- Guide inbound/outbound airplanes to and from the gate.
- Transport, lift, load/unload, sort and transfer passenger baggage, cargo, and mail material in and out of aircraft bins, belt loader, or baggage carts in a safe manner.
- Safeguards customer baggage, air cargo, airmail from weather, loss, theft, damage and/or destruction.
- Clean aircraft passenger cabins between flights and stock aircraft with needed supplies.
- Operate heavy equipment such as pushback equipment and maintain visual contact with Wing Walkers to ensure the equipment is free of any danger.
- Operate and/or drive motorized equipment, such as belt loaders, air start units, lift trucks, push back tugs, bag cart, lavatory cart, and deicers; or manually push and pull push carts and containers.
- Receive and record customer baggage, air freight, mail, and company materials as required.
- Pick up, deliver, and transport cargo and baggage to and from aircraft, which could include wheelchairs, strollers, live animals, and other vital property of passengers, and prepare records in connection with these responsibilities.
- Complete paperwork and forms connected with work assignments pertaining to procedures and enter data into company's information system as required.
- Follow company procedures and protocols to ensure we are always operating in a safe and responsible manner.
- Complete all training when required by company, airport governing authority, or customer when required.
- Be on time, be prepared, and be safe. Be willing to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
