Vice President, Investor Relations

Acadia Realty Trust is seeking a Vice President of Investor Relations to build, lead, and operate the Company's investor relations function. The ideal candidate is a seasoned real estate finance professional with a deep understanding of public REIT capital markets and a track record of building institutional investor relationships.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA, CFA, or equivalent advanced qualification strongly preferred
• Minimum 7-10 years of experience in investor relations, equity research, real estate investment banking, or public REIT finance, with direct exposure to public capital markets
• Demonstrated experience in retail real estate or REITs, with a working knowledge of key REIT metrics (FFO, AFFO, NAV, cap rates, same-store NOI, leasing spreads, occupancy)
• Proven track record of building and maintaining relationships with institutional buy-side investors and sell-side analysts
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; ability to distill complex financial and operational information into clear, compelling narratives
• Strong financial modelling and analytical capabilities, including fluency in REIT valuation methodologies
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word); experience with IR platforms such as Bloomberg, FactSet, Q4, or comparable tools, along with interest and experience working with AI technologies
