Maintenance Technician Mechanical - Welding Journey Only

Alliant Energy is seeking a Maintenance Technician Mechanical - Welding Journey Only to perform mechanical and electrical maintenance activities and other duties necessary to maintain the generation facility.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Journey level in the mechanical trade
• Demonstrated ability to solve problems
• Well developed skills in machining
• Knowledge of theory and skill in welding
• Knowledge of company safety rules
• High degree of mechanical and/or electrical aptitude
• Strong leadership ability
• Ability to perform the physical requirements of the job
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative and inclusive work environment
