Job Description
We are seeking a Senior Generation Engineer to shape the future of energy by tackling complex engineering challenges. The role requires experience, independent judgment, and a passion for driving technical excellence. As a Senior Engineer, you will perform complex assignments, identify problems and solutions, and develop recommendations for technically sound and cost-effective solutions. You will also provide guidance to less experienced personnel and engage in other duties that support Alliant Energy's Values and Purpose.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in an engineering program accredited through the Engineering Accreditation Commission
- 7 years of related experience
- Project management leadership experience preferred
- Ability to deal with subcontractors and cross-functional teams
- Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills
