Join the team at New Jersey’s largest wine and spirits distributor, Allied Beverage Group, as a Temporary Merchandiser. This is a temporary position that requires a college degree, experience in sales & marketing, and proficiency in Microsoft Office and Windows.
Requirements
- P.O.S. installation for the products of our Client Suppliers
- Shelf management for existing client products and new product introduction
- Rebate coupon distribution, installation, and removal upon expiration
- Cold-box management for client supplier’s products
- Restocking of shelves, cold-box, and displays
- Log all efforts in an excel spreadsheet as required
- Take digital or conventional pictures of efforts as outlined by the Merchandising Manager and e-mail the pictures daily to the Merchandising Manager
- Check e-mail regularly during workday via Smartphone or iPad and reply to all e-mail within As soon as possible
- Conduct a data survey by size, price, or shelf position of specified product(s)
- Assist in New Store product shelf placement and floor display set up of ABG products, as well as unloading trucks.
- Assist in existing store make-overs and resets with product shelf placement and floor display set up of ABG products
- Delivery product in a company vehicle with a NJ transit insignia
- Set up displays and P.O.S. at trade shows
- Help train new hires
