Job Description
Gastrointestinal Care of Long Island is seeking a Full-Time Endoscopy Surgical Technician to prepare and maintain the sterile field, assist surgeons during procedures, and manage surgical instruments and equipment in the operating room.
Requirements
- Completion of an accredited surgical technology program
- Experience in an operating room setting, particularly with endoscopic procedures
- Certification as a surgical technologist (CST) or equivalent
- Additional certifications in specialized areas such as gastrointestinal endoscopy
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Bilingual skills to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population
