We are seeking a Senior Risk Assurance Data Specialist to strengthen data management and MI reporting within Risk Assurance and Validation (RAV). The role involves sourcing data, defining and applying data quality controls, building and maintaining dashboards and reporting packs, and providing clear insight to senior stakeholders.
Requirements
- Source, extract and manage data from multiple systems
- Build repeatable data pipelines and reporting outputs using tools such as Power BI and QlikView
- Define and document data definitions/logic and implement controls to ensure accuracy, completeness and consistency
- Partner with Risk, Finance, Technology and business stakeholders to agree data requirements, resolve data quality issues and deliver well-governed reporting within deadlines
- Maintain clear documentation, version control and an appropriate control environment for MI, aligned to AIB policies and risk/compliance expectations
- Define, calculate and maintain key risk metrics and data models
- Perform trend and root-cause analysis and translate findings into actionable insight
- Lead the design and delivery of MI and data quality improvements
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to produce concise and effective presentations for senior audiences with excellent attention to detail
- Strong organisation skills with the ability to multitask and prioritise, and to work to tight deadlines
- Self-starter with ability to work on own initiative and strong attention to detail, completing tasks to a very high degree of accuracy
