Job Description
As an Sr. Underwriter on the Excess Casualty team, you will manage and grow a portfolio of general casualty business by exercising proper underwriting discipline, and by marketing and servicing both existing and potential retail clients.
Requirements
- Excellent communication skills for both internal and external clients
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced, high-pressure environment
- 5+ years’ experience in General Casualty underwriting
- Proficient in Microsoft applications including Word, Outlook, and Excel
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask
- Willingness to travel for client meetings and broker visits
- CPCU designation or other applicable insurance designations are preferred
