Research Associate / Associate Scientist – Oligonucleotide Discovery

We are Alloy Therapeutics—a biotechnology ecosystem company empowering the global scientific community to make better medicines together. The Research Associate / Associate Scientist will work within the Genetic Medicine team in Waltham, MA, collaborating with internal/external partners on nucleic acid drug discovery projects, designing and executing molecular biology and protein techniques, and generating robust, high-quality data.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. degree in Biology or related science.
• 1-3 years of additional experience in biotech/pharma (Research Associate), 4-6 years of experience (Principal Associate Scientist).
• Knowledge of antisense oligonucleotide modalities and their mechanism of action.
• Experience designing and executing molecular biology, protein and cell-based assays.
• Preferred qualifications include experience with animal handling, oligonucleotide and/or siRNA, and Bioanalytical assays.
