Service Technician

The Service Technician will be responsible for the repair, maintenance, and inspection of industrial machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and reliability. This role requires a high school degree or GED, knowledge of machines and tools, and the ability to apply proper principles and procedures to the repair and maintenance of industrial machinery or equipment.

Requirements

• High school degree or GED
• Completion of Trade School Certificate Program or Associates Degree preferred
• Knowledge of machines and tools, including machine and/or tool design, uses and maintenance requirements/history
• Ability to apply proper principles, techniques and procedures to the repair and maintenance of industrial machinery or equipment
• Ability to determine cause of operating errors and decide how to correct the issue(s)
• Ability to discern what type and frequency of required maintenance is needed on industrial machinery or equipment
• Ability to perform quality work within deadlines with or without direct supervision
• Ability to interact professionally with other employees, customers and suppliers
• Ability to work independently while understanding the necessity for communicating and coordinating work efforts with other employees and organizations
