Accounting Specialist I

Allsup LLC is a people-centered organization that helps people with disabilities lead financially secure and healthy lives. This role will assist the Controller and Senior Staff Accountant with accounting responsibilities, including preparing overpayment spreadsheets and posting Social Security direct fee payments.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree preferred with 6 months of work history or associate's degree with 2-4 years of work experience in the Accounting field or equivalent experience
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Organizational, detail-orientation and solid verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to perform recurring tasks on a daily basis in a timely manner with accuracy
• Knowledge of the Social Security disability process preferred
