Job Description
The Casting Associate will work in a hot environment, removing parts from molds, trimming flashing, and using a pump to pour melted lead into a mold. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a casting shop and be able to withstand the heat and work in a noisy shop setting.
Requirements
- Previous work experience in a casting shop
- Ability to read and write in English
- Ability to take direction from supervisors
- Ability to operate complex machinery and tools
- Familiarity with using a rosebud/oxy fuel torch (plus)
- Clean background for 5 years
- Ability to withstand heat and work in a hot environment
- Ability to frequently lift heavy materials
- Clean shaven (no facial hair)
- Ability to work in a noisy shop setting
