Job Description
Paralegal Assistant position to research and respond to taxpayer inquiries, identify and research issues, and draft documents.
Requirements
- Review file for sale
- Prepare sale, resale, and struck deeds
- Print the HCAD map on all upcoming sales for the field inspector
- Scan and upload sale cancellations and receipts into Oracle
- Coding and updating Oracle based on the research for cases coded JC
- Prepare a request for an Abstract of Judgments
- Research set for sale accounts for contact information
- Back up Assistant in Post Judgment payoff/release
- Process payments for taxpayers when they come into the office
- Verify water and Peoplemap information and add to tax sale staff notes
- Generate sale Powerpoint and upload pictures to Oracle
- Attend interlocal meeting and assist in client presentation
- Any other duties assigned by the supervisor and/ or manager
