Job Description
Almedia is seeking a Fraud Investigation Specialist to join their team, who will identify system vulnerabilities, uncover emerging fraud patterns, and lead end-to-end investigations. The role requires strong analytical skills, technical expertise, and project ownership mentality.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in Fraud Analysis, Security Operations, Intelligence, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- Strong proficiency in SQL and data analysis; ability to work with large datasets and uncover meaningful insights.
- Experience with vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, or security risk analysis.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct end-to-end investigations and projects independently.
- Intelligence-gathering mindset — ability to synthesize information from multiple sources to identify emerging threats.
- Experience with Python or similar scripting languages for analysis or automation is a strong plus.
