Complex Needs Direct Support Professional - Female Staff Required (Client Specific)

Complex Needs Direct Support Professionals are responsible for providing support to program participants with complex physical and behavioral health needs, creating a nurturing, safe and healthful living environment, and promoting community integration. They will interact with clients, provide informal counseling, support daily needs, and complete required documentation. Additional training and compliance needs include DSHS-approved training in trauma-informed practices and crisis prevention and intervention, dual diagnosis core competency training, and client-specific training.

Requirements

• 1 year of experience as DSP with more than 1,000 hours
• 1 year of experience working with challenging behaviors and clients/patients with dual diagnosis of both mental and physical disabilities
• At least 18 years of age
• A High School Diploma or GED
• Washington State Driver's license
• Background inquiry clearance from an authorized state agency
