Laboratory Technician

Role Overview

Join ALS as a Laboratory Technician in our Food & Pharmaceutical Microbiology team. You'll work in a modern laboratory with the latest analytical technology, preparing and analyzing samples, and maintaining efficient and safe lab operations.

What You Will Do

Process food & pharmaceutical samples, ensure accurate results, complete paperwork, and maintain lab operations. You'll work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on client turnaround times.

Why It Might Be a Fit

Ideal candidates have a Cert IV lab Certificate or science qualification, strong communication and organizational skills, and a commitment to quality, safety, and client service.

Requirements

• Laboratory certificate or qualification in science
• Ability to undertake reasonable overtime
• Daily housekeeping of the laboratory
• Strong commitment to client service
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Good communication and organisational skills
• Dedication to good laboratory practices
• Previous experience in a high throughput, client-focused environment (preferred)
• Ability to lift up to 15kg
• Suitable transport to Scoresby
