ALSO is looking for an Electronics Mechanical Integration Engineer to design electromechanical actuators for next generation light electric vehicles. The role involves designing, developing, and testing onboard connectivity electronics, collaborating with electrical engineers, and working with contract manufacturers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in the design and development of electromechanical systems, particularly those involving wireless communications and audio features.
- Strong proficiency in 3D CAD software (CATIA preferred) and 2D drafting.
- Experience with PCBA / flex integration, connector selection and wire harness design.
- Hands-on experience in prototyping and fabrication techniques, including machining, 3D printing, and assembly.
- Familiarity with design for manufacturability (DFM) principles and experience with mass production processes (stamping, forging, casting, injection molding).
- Experience in product launch and working with contract manufacturers.
