Alstom is seeking a Purchaser to join the D&IS France Services Operations team. The successful candidate will work closely with the Operations, Purchasing, and Industrialisation teams to ensure the availability of primary parts and sub-assemblies. Key responsibilities include establishing order forecasts, tracking orders, and managing procurement issues.
Requirements
- Degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in a similar role, ideally in a complex industrial environment.
- Knowledge of the fundamental principles of supply chain management, including stock management and production.
- Familiarity with ERP systems, with SAP being an asset.
- English language skills are essential.
- Office software skills (Word, Excel, etc.).
- Ability to work reactively, be adaptable, and have excellent interpersonal skills.
