assembler

As an Assembler at Alstom, you will work in an industrial/field environment, assembling train components, and performing production tasks as planned by the department. You will be responsible for setting up production equipment, complying with EH&S rules, and maintaining working areas and production equipment.

Requirements

• Extensive working knowledge of material properties, methods, and basic set-up and verification, adjustment, and operation of the welding equipment and hand tools.
• Ability to read blueprints or work instructions, set-up of jigs and fixtures, comprehend the associated welding symbols and welding sequence.
• Working knowledge and ability to safely use a variety of hand and power tools.
• Respect task time and quality level assigned by operating instructions, methods process and MRP routing.
• Monitor the production process and carry out basic testing and quality checks.
• Handle, store goods and raw materials in the factory or the warehouse.
