Job Description
Join Alstom's Digital Foundry in Villeurbanne, France, as a DevOps Engineer to design and implement CI/CD infrastructure, automate build and deployment chains, and ensure high velocity while preserving quality and compliance.
Requirements
- Engineering or master's degree in computer science or information systems (or equivalent)
- Experience in software development, integration, and testing
- Strong Linux environment and shell mastery
- Solid foundations in networking and security
- Version control systems: Git
- Containerization: Docker or Podman
- Continuous Integration and Delivery: Jenkins or GitLab CI
- Infrastructure as Code: Ansible or Puppet or Chef
- Artifact Management: Artifactory or Nexus
- Supervision/Observability: Grafana, ElasticSearch (or equivalent)
- Scripting: Python or Groovy or Gradle
- Cloud Infrastructure: Microsoft Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Practice with REST APIs (e.g. GitLab, Artifactory)
- Effective oral communication and excellent English writing
- Ability to collaborate with distant and multidisciplinary engineering teams
