Fleet Support Engineer

At Alstom, we are seeking a Fleet Support Engineer to work on electrical and electronic engineering solutions for Automated People Mover (APM) vehicles and wayside systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and validating engineering solutions, providing technical support, and ensuring compliance with electrical standards and safety regulations.

Requirements

• Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related field
• Proven hands-on experience working with complex automation/control systems, or heavy-industry electrical/electronic systems, or power-plant systems
• Experience or understanding of APM (Automated People Mover), rail, or similar electrical/electronic engineering roles
• Familiarity with electrical standards and safety regulations
• Strong communication skills for technical justifications and collaboration
• Ability to travel 50% or more, including short-notice assignments
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including software, signaling, and systems engineers
