Fleet Support Engineer

The Fleet Support Engineer will play a key role in ensuring the mechanical integrity, reliability, and performance of APM vehicles and related wayside mechanical equipment, contributing to the success of in-service fleets and start-up projects. The role requires developing and validating mechanical engineering solutions, supporting maintenance teams, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience)
• Knowledge of vehicle mechanical systems, such as bogies, brakes, HVAC, and couplers
• Experience or understanding of Automated People Mover (APM) systems, rail, or similar mechanical engineering roles
• Familiarity with engineering change documentation and technical standards compliance
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
• Analytical and problem-solving skills for troubleshooting and root cause analysis of mechanical failures
• Adaptability to travel 50% or more, including short-notice assignments
