Job Description
We are seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform overhaul work on TRAXX locomotives, including disassembly, inspection, repair, and assembly of mechanical, pneumatic, electrical, and mechatronic components. The ideal candidate will have a middle or higher technical education in mechanics, electricity, mechatronics, automation, or related, and experience in service, maintenance, or repair of heavy equipment.
Requirements
- Middle or higher technical education (mechanics, electricity, mechatronics, automation, or related)
- Ability to read technical documentation and electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic schemes
- Experience in service, maintenance, or repair of heavy equipment (experience with railway vehicles / Overhaul will be an asset)
- Knowledge of basic diagnostic methods and tools and workshop tools and measuring instruments
- Basic knowledge of English (technical documentation)
- Ability to work in a team, independence, and awareness of quality and safety principles
