Job Description
Nomad Digital is seeking a Senior System Administrator to join their global Engineering division in Newcastle/the UK. This role focuses on supporting a network infrastructure, automating processes, and providing mentorship to team members, ensuring robust systems and processes are in place. It involves both hands-on work and strategic planning, with the potential for hybrid or fully remote work.
Requirements
- RHCE or equivalent experience
- CCNA or equivalent networking experience
- Kubernetes Certified Administrator or equivalent experience
- 5 years of experience configuring and maintaining network infrastructure
- Linux-based systems (Ubuntu/Debian)
- Automation tools such as Puppet, Ansible, etc
- Security knowledge, OWASP top 10, NMAP scanning
- Data center Infrastructure
- Asset management
- Monitoring solutions like Zabbix
- VMWare
- FortiGate Firewalls
- VPN management and deployment
- Azure infrastructure management
- Good communication, planning and co-ordination skills
