Software Lead Engineer

At Alstom, we're looking for a Software Lead Engineer to join our team in Bangalore, India. You'll lead the delivery of software baselines, work closely with teams across the business, and ensure technical solutions are timely and effective.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
• Hands-on experience in software development phases, including requirements gathering, development, and hardware-software integration (minimum of 12 years).
• Proven experience leading the complete product lifecycle of at least three projects (minimum of 7 years).
• Proficiency in IEC61131-3 (FBD, ST, SFC) or model-based development tools like ControlBuild, MATLAB/Simulink.
• Familiarity with real-time, distributed controllers and real-time network protocols (e.g., MVB, CIP, Ethernet, CAN, RS232, RS485).
• Experience managing work packages for subcontractors.
• Strong problem-solving, risk management, and team leadership skills.
