System Architect

At Alstom, we are looking for a System Architect to join our team in Bucharest. The successful candidate will perform System Design Activities related to Romanian Projects, contributing to the development of innovative and efficient transport systems. Key responsibilities include managing technical issues, overseeing technical documentation, and participating in material selection and procurement, while also contributing to the continuous improvement of our systems and processes.

Requirements

• University Degree in Engineering (Transportation Systems, Electronics, Telecommunications, Software Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent)
• Collaborative teamwork and effective communication skills
• Flexibility and adaptability to meet changing project needs
• Understanding of railway signalling principles
• Strong analytical skillset
• Familiarity with ITC Hardware architectures
• Innovative thinking to develop practical solutions
• Proven planning and organizational abilities

• Knowledge of and ability to work to relevant specifications and standards
• Clear and concise documentation skills
• Awareness of quality and safety management processes
• Proficiency in English communication (at least an intermediate level)
