Job Description
At Alstom, we are looking for a Technical Project Manager to lead AI projects from conception to deployment. The successful candidate will have experience in AI/ML engineering and project management, and will be responsible for overseeing the lifecycle of data-driven projects and translating high-level AI use cases into actionable technical roadmaps.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Science, or a related field; a Master’s degree is a plus
- PMP or equivalent certification
- At least 8 years of software development/engineering experience, with 4+ years leading AI/ML projects in a technical capacity
- Strong hands-on background in software development, especially AI-related technologies
- Deep understanding of AI/ML, including LLMs, NLP, computer vision, and business applications
- Experience with RAG, vector databases, and embedding models
- Proficiency in at least one AI-relevant programming language, such as Python
- Familiarity with frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Hugging Face, and cloud/container technologies like AWS, Azure, GCP, Docker, and Kubernetes
- Experience with Agile tools like Jira and EWM from IBM
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
