VIE - Mechanical Design Engineer (m/f/d)

Alstom is seeking a VIE - Mechanical Design Engineer to work in Kassel, Germany. The successful candidate will design and deliver reliable, high-quality mechanical solutions for Alstom's projects, working closely with cross-functional teams and collaborating with innovative teammates.

Requirements

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Experience or understanding of CAD tools and digital mock-ups
• Knowledge of mechanical and electrical engineering principles
• Familiarity with design review processes and technical documentation
• A structured and organised approach with strong time management skills
• Good communication and interpersonal skills, including with third parties (e.g., customers)
• English proficiency (reading, writing, and technical conversations); German language skills are desirable
