Job Description
Environmental / Civil Engineer I position at Alta Science & Engineering, supporting civil and environmental engineering projects throughout Idaho and the Pacific Northwest, with a focus on infrastructure, restoration, and remediation.
Requirements
- Hydraulic modeling using HEC-RAS, SRH-2D, and related tools
- Support floodplain, scour, and hydraulic structure analysis
- Prepare engineering drawings and design layouts using Civil 3D
- Assist with grading, drainage, and site design development
- Support preparation of plans, specifications, and technical reports
- Participate in field work including construction observation and documentation
- Coordinate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams
- Support permitting and regulatory compliance documentation
- Mentor and collaborate with junior staff as experience grows
