Job Description
Manages the monthly activities of the general ledger close and production of the monthly, consolidated financial statements and the daily activities of the Non-Utility Accounting. Oversees the work of the Non-Utility Accounting staff and coordinates with senior management, internal and external auditors, and other departments within US Utilities Finance and internal and external stakeholders on report filings and financial informational requirements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree Accounting, finance or related field
- 7+ Years Experience in accounting (or a Master’s degree plus 5 years of accounting experience)
- 2+ Years Supervisory experience
- Experience with a public accounting firm preferred
- Technical accounting experience helpful
- CPA preferred
