Job Description
The Pipeline Safety Management System (PSMS) Lead is responsible for the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of PSMS in accordance with API RP 1173. The role involves working with departments throughout the company to provide education on PSMS and identify gaps for continuous safety culture improvement.
Requirements
- Design, develop, implement and monitor the PSMS framework
- Build and maintain strong companywide knowledge of PSMS
- Engage with business units to create defined timelines for the implementation of process safety recommendations and continuous improvement goals
- Maintain currency with industry best practices and trends
- Responsible for oversight of management of change (MOC) for Asset Management, Engineering and Operations
- Work with the O&M (Operations and Maintenance) Codes and Standards team
- Develop and maintain dashboard of PSMS related KPIs to measure continuous improvement progress
- Measure the company’s PSMS maturity of the program through periodic surveys and/or audits
