Job Description
WGL seeks a Public Affairs Coordinator to build and maintain relationships with local elected officials, staff, and community stakeholders to support public affairs objectives. The successful candidate will have 2-5 years of experience in public affairs, government relations, or a related field.
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in public affairs, government relations, community engagement, or a related field
- Understanding of legislative processes at federal, state, and local levels
- Strong relationship-building and coalition-building abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related tools
