Medical Assistant II

AltaMed is a community clinic that provides exceptional care to everyone, and they are looking for a Medical Assistant II to join their team. The Medical Assistant II will provide direct patient care, manage patient expectations, and document patient information in the Electronic Health Record. They will also assist with administrative responsibilities and provide support to the Medical Assistant team.

Requirements

• A Medical Assistant certificate, along with a high school diploma or equivalent
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a back office Medical Assistant in the outpatient setting, medical practice, or clinic setting
• Phlebotomy certified
• Nationally recognized Medical Assistant certification
• Bilingual English/Spanish/Mandarin/Cantonese, depending on location
• A valid BLS certification or higher
