The Scheduler is responsible for overseeing the scheduling and coordination of all assigned projects, ensuring efficient resource allocation and maintaining timelines to meet project deadlines.
Requirements
- Develops and maintains comprehensive project schedules using scheduling software (e.g., Primavera P6, Microsoft Project)
- Collaborates with project managers, external engineers, and subcontractors to integrate project plans into master schedules
- Identifies potential risks to project schedules and develops contingency plans to mitigate risks
- Monitors and updates schedules to reflect changes in scope, delays, or other adjustments
- Facilitates communication between project teams, subcontractors, and clients regarding schedule-related matters
- Attends on site project meetings
- Prepares agenda and runs internal meetings as needed
- Works with Project Managers to identify 'critical path activities' and prepares documentation to accomplish these activities
- Other duties as assigned by management
