Band Saw Operator - 2nd Shift

Aluminum Precision Products (APP) is seeking a Band Saw Operator to work on the 2nd shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting, setting up, and operating the band saw to process forged metal parts. The role involves working safely, maintaining a lean work environment, and meeting production needs. Requirements

• Work safe and maintain an organized, lean work environment
• Strong commitment to good attendance and being on time as it is critical to meet production needs
• Inspect machinery to ensure that it is in working order, making adjustments/replacements as necessary
• Perform preventive maintenance as specified
• Position parts on saw bed, offloads and stacks material in accordance with established procedures
• Inspect forged parts visually and by touch for excessive metal
• Maintain accurate part and/or work piece counts
• Assure quality and production requirements are met, as per the job-specific travelers
