Mental Health Worker

Alvarado Parkway Institute (API) is a free-standing psychiatric hospital in La Mesa, California, seeking compassionate mental health workers to provide comprehensive adult inpatient behavioral health and addictive disorders services. As a Mental Health Worker, you will be responsible for monitoring patients, providing basic nursing care, and ensuring the safety and well-being of patients.

Requirements

• High school, GED, or equivalent required
• Psychology, Nursing, or other healthcare-related courses preferred but not required
• Current BLS Certification for Healthcare Providers issued by the American Heart Association
• Prior healthcare experience or CNA preferred but not required
