Job Description
Franciscan Health Indianapolis is seeking a full-time Microbiologist/Laboratory Scientist to perform specimen processing, test performance, and reporting for clinical and laboratory testing. The role involves participating in quality control procedures and adhering to established standards, complying with agencies like JCAHO, CAP, and CLIA. Shift work and weekend/holiday rotations may be required.
Requirements
- Associates degree in a laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution.
- Bachelor degree in medical laboratory science/medical technology from an accredited college or university.
- At least 1 year of pertinent full-time clinical laboratory experience or training preferred.
- Must complete at least one year of clinical laboratory experience/training.
