3D Artist - Characters (Project Based)

Amber is seeking skilled 3D artists to create visually appealing and believable characters for projects. The role involves character concept interpretation, high-poly modeling, sculpting, texturing, rigging, animation, and collaboration with the team. It's a project-based position focused on delivering top-notch service to customers.

Requirements

• Expert understanding of human and creatures anatomy, proportion, silhouette, topology, clothing physics and construction
• Demonstrate an understanding of character-related disciplines such as modeling, texturing, shading, rigging and binding, animation, facial animation, and blend shapes
• Strong polygonal modeling skills being able to generate clean, efficient, well integrated and leveled models to the requirements of a particular project.
• Proficiency in industry-standard 3D modeling, sculpting, and texturing software
• Full understanding of the technical foundations
• 3-5 years of experience in the videogame industry and at least 3 credited games
• Software Expertise: Zbrush, Maya, 3DS Max, blender or equivalent
• Full understanding of the technical foundations
• PBR Workflow and efficient/well organized texture creation
• High degree of self-direction, but also a great team-player with a strong verbal and written communication
• Strong knowledge of industry-standard pipelines, workflows and asset exporting process.
• Quick learner of new processes and software as needed.
