Senior Controls Technician - Pheonix Controls

Pheonix Controls is a leading provider of HVAC solutions in the New England area, seeking a highly skilled Senior Controls Technician to install, maintain, and troubleshoot direct digital control (DDC) systems in commercial and industrial HVAC systems.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an HVAC controls technician, with a focus on DDC systems.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, controls, and related equipment.
• Proficiency in programming and configuring DDC controllers (e.g., Niagara 4/ax, Johnson, Distech, Honeywell, etc.).
• Experience with integrating DDC systems with building management systems (BMS) and other automation platforms.
• Familiarity with network protocols and communication standards (BACnet, Modbus, LonWorks, etc.).
• Ability to read and interpret control schematics, wiring diagrams, and specifications.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Leadership abilities and experience in supervising and guiding a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with clients, colleagues, and subcontractors.
