Job Description
MIH Systems Group is a growing company in the evolving field of building commissioning, and we strive to make buildings work better. We are looking for a VFD technician to install and repair VFD systems for our clients in the Greater Boston Area.
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of experience with multiple manufacturers of Variable Frequency Drives
- Valid driver's license required. Ability to lift 50 pounds and work from heights/a ladder
- Strong working knowledge of three phase motors and control circuits
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30
- SST
- Ability to prepare inspection and appraisal reports
- Team player with good interpersonal and conflict resolution skills. Ability to communicate well in both oral and written reports.
- Mechanical Assembly and Troubleshooting Skills
- Basic Computer Skills
- Experience programming, calibrating, and configuring 4-20 MA & 0-10 Vdc devices
- Exceptional ability to work independently without direct supervision
- Prior experience with gas detection systems, Air Handling Units and Humidifiers is a plus
